Overview of the Graduate Route

The UK Graduate Route allows international students who have successfully completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at an approved UK Higher Education Provider to remain in the UK to work, or look for work, for 2 years (3 years for PhD/doctoral graduates).

  • Acts as the ideal bridge toward securing a Skilled Worker Visa (which counts towards the 5-year Indefinite Leave to Remain settlement clock).

Application Costs

The application fee is £822, plus the mandatory Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) of £1,035 per year (£2,070 for a 2-year visa). Applications must be lodged from inside the UK before the student visa expires.
